Itinerary:
From Budapest, head on your journey north to Esztergom spending the morning exploring its Basilica and historic centre, which once was Hungary’s capital, before continuing westwards to the beautiful old town of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Navigating through Lower Austria you'll then reach the romantic town of Dürnstein and visit the monastery in Melk.
Soon you'll arrive in Linz for a guided tour. Alternatively, take the scenic drive to Salzburg and enjoy a guided tour of the old town. On the way back eastwards, you will reach classical Vienna. No visit here would be complete without the experience of a classical recital. Finally, cruising into Hungary, you arrive back in imperial Budapest, straddling the picturesque Danube. After a guided tour of this palatial city, following your final dinner, enjoy a Hungarian folklore show - an excellent finale to this most exceptional and relaxing cruise.
